GUIDE (Current College Program)

The GUIDE program is a PAID summer program and designed for college sophomores, juniors, seniors and graduate students to enhance their competitiveness as they prepare to apply to health professional school in programs such as dentistry, medicine, pharmacy, occupational therapy and physical therapy. The GUIDE Program includes a FREE Kaplan review course for either the Dental Admissions Test (DAT), the Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT), the Pharmacy College Admissions Test (PCAT) or the Graduate Record Examination (GRE) for allied health.  Additionally, preparation for the application and interviewing process for professional school including mock interviews; shadowing in health care clinics and/or research laboratories. The program includes a one week on campus program to prepare for the application and interview processes, followed by an at home self-paced Kaplan review course. Students receive a $90 stipend for each of the 5 days of the on-campus portion of the program.
