Getting overwhelmed with emails is a common problem. The easiest way to manage the junk mail making it to the inbox is to “unsubscribe” – usually there is a link at the bottom of mass emails for that. But, because junk emails don’t always have “unsubscribe” buttons at the end, but you can “create a rule” to send all emails from that sender directly into the trash. Please note that this will send ALL emails from that sender to the trash, so this solution won’t work if there are some you need/want.
- First, go to the three dots at the top right corner of the email. Select “advanced options” at the bottom of the list.
- Select “create rule”
- In the pop up window, select “trash” from the drop down menu (alternatively, you could create a “to read later” folder and direct emails there).
