Facility improvements

WVU Hospitals has dedicated about $600,000 to improvements of hospital physician spaces such as the Doctors Lounge and Surgeon’s Lounge.

Response to physician feedback

Part of feeling appreciated is feeling heard. Our “Tell your story” initiative seeks and utilizes comments from frontline physicians to help advocate for needed organizational changes. Physician faculty give direct feedback to prioritize the wellbeing work each year. We also externally survey physician faculty about every 18 months and track resolutions to issues raised in the survey.
