SPH Teaching and Learning Community Seminar

Next seminar: Friday, Nov. 11 at 11 a.m.

The next seminar for the SPH Teaching and Learning Community (also known as the Teaching Mentoring Group) will occur on Friday, November 11, at 11 a.m. via Zoom. This group/seminar series is a monthly lecture and discussion series for interested students, faculty and staff in the School of Public Health.

Anyone interested or involved in teaching in the School of Public Health including students, faculty, adjunct faculty and staff may attend. PhD students in teaching practicums are especially encouraged to attend.

This session will focus on teaching strategies to engage students, check for understanding, and spur meaningful discussion as well as some available technology tools that can be used in conjunction with these strategies.
