Dentistry Uncensored with Howard Farran, a podcast by Dentaltown's founder, recently hosted WVU School of Dentistry's interim dean and chair of the department of periodontics to discuss both topical and timely dentistry issues and innovation in dentistry. It is tough times, but I'm honored to be leading this great school and to be working with a wonderful team of people here, faculty and staff. We have an oustanding group of students. I'm so proud of them for what they're accomplishing depsite the challenges. I really feel this is where I was meant to be at this point in my life. I'm glad that I'm able to do something that I love.

It's not going to be a replacement of us as professionals; it's going to improve the quality and the precision. The plan for the Yomi is also to include algorithm for crown prep and root canal. That is going to be the foreseeable future situation, a lot of robots being in practices to improve the quality of the treatment.
