Class of 2024 - Adam Fleckenstein

1) Why did you choose WVU?

My father attended Dental School at West Virginia University and had previously shown me the campus on several occasions. I was very impressed with the facilities during these visits which lead me to attend WVU.

2) What is your favorite activity?

My favorite activity is probably playing golf whenever I have the free time available.

3) What is your favorite TV program, movie, and who is your favorite music artist

Favorite TV Program – The Mandalorian

Movie – Lord of the Rings (Extended Editions)

Music Artist – Guns N’ Roses

4) Who has been your greatest influence in your life, other than a family member, and why?

This would probably be my current girlfriend of the past 3 years. She has helped me manage the stress I underwent during my undergraduate education while also helping me to become a better person overall.

5) If you could be anyone, other than yourself, who would that be and why?

I would probably enjoy being Matt Kuchar (Professional Golfer) the most. Not only does he get to play golf for a living, but he seems to enjoy himself a lot while doing so.

6) What are your biggest worries about coming to the WVU dental school this fall?

Possibility of online education due to the ongoing current events.

7) How do you deal with stress?

I usually plan my work schedule out when stressed over time constraints. Stress I experience through other means I can usually overcome by either playing guitar or video games.

8) If you could change the world, what would you do?

I would want to create a world in which every individual has the same opportunities and benefits available to them; however, I still want hardworking individuals to reap the benefits of their efforts without controversy.
