$2 Million in Possible Funding for ASPPH Members

The Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health is pleased to announce nearly $2 million in funding available to ASPPH members through our cooperative agreement with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), OE22-2201 Strengthening the Population & Public Health Workforce Pipeline: Enhancing the Capacity of the Nation’s Public Health Workforce to Advance Health Equity. 

Through the ASPPH Center for Public Health Workforce Development, ASPPH members are eligible to apply for six CDC-funded Workforce Improvement Projects (WIPs), including:

  • Part II: Public Health Emergency Preparedness and Response Applied Research and Practice Training Program
  • STEM Teachers as Public Health Ambassadors
  • Technical Advising for Accelerating Federal Public Health Data Science Projects
  • Leveraging Academic Expertise to Deliver the Content of the Big Data Analytics & Applications in Public Health (BDAAPH)
  • CHES and MCHES Certification Support for Health Education Fellows
  • Instructor-Led Training for Health Education Competency Development
