Neal Museum opens exhibit honoring female physician at WV Hospital for the Insane
The temporary exhibit, “Lorilla F. Bullard: Female Physician at the WV Hospital for the Insane,” is now open at the William A. Neal Museum of the Health Sciences in the Health Sciences Center Pylons Commons.

Free public screening of opioid crisis film "What We Hide" to headline 37th Annual Addiction Training Institute in Morgantown
The WVU Rockefeller Neuroscience Institute (RNI) Department of Behavioral Medicine and Psychiatry will host a free public screening of What We Hide, a dramatic film depicting the human toll of the opioid crisis, on Monday, June 15, at 6:30 p.m. in the ballroom of the Erickson Alumni Center at West Virginia University.
Honoring excellence: School of Public Health recognizes outstanding students, faculty and community partners
West Virginia University School of Public Health students, faculty, staff and partners joined together on the evening of Wednesday, April 29, to honor outstanding achievements during the school’s annual Year-end Celebration.
Reminder: HSC Shuttle service unavailable Monday, May 25
The Health Sciences shuttle that runs between HSC and the Innovation Center will not be operating on Monday, May 25, as the University is closed in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. Regular operations will resume Tuesday, May 26.
Blood Drive planned for May 26 at J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital
An American Red Cross blood drive will be held Tuesday, May 26 from 12-6 p.m. at WVU Medicine J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital Bruce McClymonds Conference Room A for WVU employees and students.
University adopts policy on digital accessibility
In ongoing support of the University’s commitment to an inclusive digital environment, and in alignment with updated federal regulations under the Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990, the University has adopted a Digital Accessibility Policy that provides guidelines for employees across the WVU System who manage or create digital content.

WVU’s Certified Tobacco Treatment Training Program celebrates graduates with honor cords
The Certified Tobacco Treatment Training Program (CTTTP) at West Virginia University Health Sciences Center, sponsored by the School of Dentistry and the HSC Office of Interprofessional Education, is recognizing a new class of graduates in a meaningful way this year. For the first time, WVU graduates will receive honor cords that symbolize their commitment to addressing tobacco use disorder and supporting recovery.
