More than 60 undergraduate students gathered at the West Virginia University Health Sciences Center on Saturday, April 5, for the ninth annual WVU Rural Health Day, an event designed to introduce aspiring health professionals to the opportunities and rewards of practicing in rural communities.

Julie Huffmyer, M.D., has been named the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education assistant designated institution official for the West Virginia University School of Medicine Graduate Medical Education program effective by July 1.
