Please join us for a retirement celebration honoring John Brick, M.D. on Monday, January 29 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the Pylons at WVU's Health Sciences Center. Dr. Brick is the J.F. Brick Endowed Chair and professor in the School of Medicine's Department of Neurology and also serves as the associate dean of rural outreach.
Health Sciences hosts National Library of Medicine traveling exhibit
The Health Sciences Library is hosting the National Library of Medicine Traveling Exhibit, “Graphic Medicine: Ill-Conceived & Well-Drawn!” The exhibit is on view in the library’s open seating area across from the Access Services Desk until Feb. 17.

Reminder for common areas at the Health Sciences Center
WVU Health Sciences strives to provide a safe, fair and orderly environment for students, employees, patients, visitors and other guests. To maintain the environment for work and study, the Health Sciences Facilities Planning Committee developed a set of guidelines for those furnishing common spaces and posting artwork, informational notices and signage, etc.
Tumor Microenvironment (TME) CoBRE Special Seminar scheduled for March 4
The Health Sciences Tumor Microenvironment Center of Biomedical Research Excellence will host a special seminar on Monday, March 4 from 12-1 p.m. in WVU Health Sciences Center North, room 3067.
Banner outage set for Wednesday
Banner and related applications will be unavailable from 12:01-4 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 24, during important financial aid system updates.
Many important WVU services will be inaccessible Sunday
Faculty, staff and students on all campuses will be unable to log in to many important services requiring WVU Login credentials from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday (Jan. 21) during quarterly security patching to the single sign-on system.
