HVAC maintenance will temporarily shut down parts of walkway behind Ruby Memorial
A vendor will be working to replace portions of the HVAC units on top of J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. This work will require the temporary closure of the 4 North exit door and a portion of the sidewalk outside The Market at WVU Health Sciences.
Residents and Fellows invited to Job Fair on October 28
Residents and Fellows are welcome to participate in a WVU Medicine system-wide job fair on October 28, 2025. The event will take place in the Bruce McClymonds Conference Room in J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Undergraduate GEF course to be offered online in Spring 2026: Social Determinants of Health (PUBH 202)
PUBH 202: Social Determinants of Health is a 3-credit course available to undergraduate students interested in learning more about the social factors or determinants that impact health. This course will be offered ONLINE in Spring 2026.

PUBH 101: Introduction to Public and Community Health is a 3-credit course available to undergraduate students interested in learning more about public and community health. The course will be offered in person on the Downtown Campus on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1-2:15 p.m. in Spring 2026.

Annual cybersecurity awareness training begins Oct. 6, must be done within 45 days
To help protect the integrity of WVU systems and data, and to reduce the risk of a damaging security incident, all WVU employees on all campuses are required to complete annual cybersecurity awareness training. Training will begin Monday, Oct. 6, and you will have 45 days to complete both the modules and the assessment.
UPDATE: SOLE login screen have been rescheduled for 8-9 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 4
SOLE users can expect to see changes to the SOLE login screen after 5 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 1. If you have a WVU Login or WVU Medicine Login, choose the WVU/ WVU Medicine Sign-In button, select your role when prompted, and authenticate using the Okta Verify app or a supported multi-factor token.
