Eight nursing faculty complete STEPS Simulation Certification Program
During the summer, eight WVU School of Nursing faculty members completed the STEPS Simulation Certification Program. The certification, offered by the WVU David and Jo Ann Shaw Center for Simulation Training and Education for Patient Safety (STEPS), is designed for instructors with interest in quality teaching with simulation.

Wired and wireless internet connectivity will be unavailable from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2 for parts of the third floor north and south at the WVU Health Sciences Center.

WVU School of Dentistry alumni raise nearly $1M to name orthodontic clinic for longtime department chair
Since 1994, Dr. Peter Ngan has guided students at the West Virginia University School of Dentistry through a rigorous residency program to help them build successful specialty careers in orthodontics. After 30 years, alumni are sharing their gratitude for his dedication with gifts totaling more than $900,000 to name the orthodontic clinic in his honor.
Attend 2024 Gandhi-King Lecture on International Relations and Peace Studies
The Eberly College of Arts and Sciences will host Narinder Kapur as he presents “Martin Luther King and Mahatma Gandhi: Perspectives from Psychological Science, Justice, and Wellbeing” at 4 p.m. Oct. 2 in the Mountainlair Gluck Theater or on Zoom.
WVU dentistry students receive scholarship support
More than 70 West Virginia University School of Dentistry students earned scholarships for the 2024-25 academic year. To honor their achievements, a recognition ceremony was at held at the Health Sciences Center on Sept. 20.
