WVU Medicine Children’s Cardiac Operating Room named in honor of Dr. Robert Gustafson, Keyser native, PSC alumnus
Robert Gustafson, M.D., associate dean for Faculty Services and professor emeritus of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at the WVU School of Medicine, was recently honored with the naming of a WVU Medicine Children’s Cardiac Operating Room in his behalf.
Abstracts due Nov. 11 for Undergraduate Research Day at the Capitol
Undergraduate student researchers who are interested in presenting as part of West Virginia Undergraduate Research Day at the Capitol, scheduled for Friday, Feb. 10, 2023, should submit their abstracts online by 11:59 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 11. The event is an opportunity to showcase the breadth of research and creative scholarship happening at WVU and the important role undergraduate researchers have in advancing the University’s research mission. Army ROTC helicopter operations planned near WVU Health Sciences Center
The WVU Army ROTC Mountaineer Battalion will conduct helicopter transportation operations Friday (Nov. 4) in conjunction with the West Virginia Army National Guard on the intramural fields north of Ruby Memorial Hospital along Chestnut Ridge Road.
