Costello reappointed to National AAP Committee on State Government Affairs
Lisa Costello, M.D.,MPH, an assistant professor in the Department of Pediatrics, has been reappointed to the American Academy of Pediatrics Committee on State Government Affairs. Costello has previously served on the committee for the past two years.
WVU Cancer Institute Summer Undergraduate Research Symposium
Please join us for the 2021 WVU Cancer Institute Summer Undergraduate Research Program Symposium on Tuesday, August 3rd, 2 - 4 p.m. in the Cancer Center Hoylman Atrium. Hussein Jaffal joins Department of Otolaryngology
Hussein Jaffal, M.D., has joined the West Virginia University School of Medicine as an assistant professor in the Department of Otolaryngology, Head and Neck Surgery. Jaffal’s area of expertise is all ear, nose and throat conditions in children with special interest in diseases of the upper airway, voice disorders, swallowing conditions, pediatric neck masses and vascular anomalies.

Ophthalmology Grand Rounds: Fourth-year medical student to present corneal case
Fourth-year West Virginia University School of Medicine student Daniel Farrell will be presenting a cornea case at the Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences Grand Rounds on Wednesday, July 28, at 7 a.m. This will be followed by a lecture on fatigue mitigation. The presentation will take place over Zoom.
