WVCTSI Clinical Trials Toolkit Series continues April 8

Join the West Virginia Clinical and Translational Science Institute (WVCTSI) Center of Excellence for its next Clinical Trials Toolkit Series session on Friday, April 8, at noon in Health Sciences Center South G252F or via Zoom.

The presentation will focus on Research Data Protection Process and The Office of Sponsored Programs – Clinical Trial Agreement – Review and Negotiation.

Part one, presented by Rosemary Casteel, director of research systems and operational research data service, will provide an overview of the newly implemented Human Research Data Protection Process. The importance of this new process and how it will facilitate faster protocol/research approval times and decrease compliance risk will be discussed.

Part two, presented by Molly Superfesky, JD, MPA, Award Negotiation, WVU Office of Sponsored Programs, will provide a brief overview of the clinical trial agreement process from an Office of Sponsored Programs perspective and to familiarize the University community with the terms and conditions commonly included in clinical trial agreements with a brief discussion on preferred terms.
