OLLI at WVU virtual open house to preview summer classes
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at WVU will host a virtual open on Wednesday, June 22, from 3:00 – 4:30 p.m. on Zoom and Facebook Live to showcase its upcoming summer term classes and events designed for older adults.

As the country continues to be at odds over solutions to the mass shooting/gun control issues plaguing the nation, two professors at West Virginia University, including School of Public Health professor, Keith Zullig, are sharing their expert pitches on behavioral pathways of school shooters and the likely long-term effects of such shootings on young people.

Public Health faculty member earns fellowship role to improve long-term care for West Virginia cancer survivors

School of Public Health welcomes new communications specialist
On May 18, the School of Public Health and University Relations-Health Sciences welcomed their newest employee, Kayla Gagnon. Kayla joins the team as a communications specialist, serving as lead multimedia producer and social media coordinator, as well as a collaborator across the school for marketing and news products and other communication materials as needed.

Steam outage planned for Health Sciences Campus
The Facilities Management team is working with WVU’s steam provider on a planned steam outage for the Evansdale campus May 21-28 and June 3-7. An additional outage will affect the Health Sciences campus on June 3.
