Copying Pages
Copying allows you to create a duplicate page (or a duplicate group of pages, if the targeted page has pages under it). This can be helpful when you want to make a new page, but follow a similar format as an existing page. Rather than clicking between this new page and an existing page, you can save time by Copying it and creating a duplicate you can edit.
Copying a Page #
- Right click on the page you want to copy. Note: If you are unable to right click, you can also open the page and click the purple "Actions" drop down from the top right corner.
- Click Copy.
- To the right of the page listing, a duplicate listing will appear. Click on the page you want the duplicate created under (also known as a "parent" page, one level above where you want the duplicate created). The icon of the "parent" page you choose will change to a green check mark.
- Click Copy. Note: To see your changes reflect in the page listing, you may need to refresh. The duplicate page(s) will be created, but unpublished by default.
