Supporting Health Equity in COVID-19 Outreach and Measurement

The goals for this project are to 1) improve data collection and reporting for testing priority populations as demonstrated by established informatics procedures and tools in five participating health systems; 2) to conduct a needs assessment with key stakeholders and 3) create a culturally competent COVID-19 testing data collection recommendation that incorporates race, ethnicity, gender identity, and sexual orientation demographic fields; 4) to disseminate project findings through WV Health Connection and the WV Rural Health Association’s state membership.
