Virtual Public Health Career Expo!

to

Every year, the School of Public Health at West Virginia University hosts a plethora of events for our students to participate in during National Public Health Week (April 7, 2025 – April 13, 2025).

This year, one of the central themes of National Public Health Week focuses on the public health workforce and its essentiality to our future. Therefore, in an effort to recognize and celebrate the importance of the current and future public health workforce in and around our community, the School of Public Health will be hosting its fourth annual Virtual Public Health Career Expo on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, from 12:00PM – 1:00PM.

The overall purpose of the event is to help current West Virginia University School of Public Health students connect with potential employers, organizations, and community partners while reinforcing the theme that a strong and vibrant public health workforce is vital to creating a healthier tomorrow.

This year's event will include representatives from the following organizations:

- Monongalia County Health Department (MCHD)

- West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources (WV DHHR)

- WVU Office of Health Services Research (OHSR)

- Mon Health

- WVU Medicine
