MENTOR: Kevin DiGregorio is the Executive Director of The Chemical Alliance Zone, a nonprofit dedicated to creating jobs in the chemical industry and related sectors across West Virginia. Kevin has a PhD in chemical engineering from West Virginia University and over 16 years of experience with Union Carbide Corporation and The Dow Chemical Company. Kevin conducted biomedical research for his MS and PhD degrees and earned the Young Investigator Award from the Biomedical Engineering Society for his dissertation work. He was awarded the Corporate Fellows Technology Award at Union Carbide and spent his last several years at Dow as the Change Leader at the South Charleston Technology Park. Kevin is the owner of IMPACT Professional Services, where he has facilitated a number of key strategic plans and led similar initiatives for the State of West Virginia, West Virginia University, Marshall University, and other groups, and he is co-owner of Church Revitalization Consulting. Kevin is a Director on a number of statewide Boards, including MATRIC, the WV Regional Technology Park, and TechConnectWV. He also serves on several advisory boards and chairs the WVU Chemical and Biomedical Engineering Advisory Committee. Kevin was inducted into the West Virginia University Academy of Chemical Engineers in 2015.
