Global Health Week: “Observations and Experiences from the Field”

Sponsored by the West Virginia University School of Medicine Global Health Program and Health Sciences Global Engagement OfficeGlobal Health Week will be held Sept. 19-23. Featuring speakers from across the United States, this year’s topics include COVID-19 pandemic response and vaccine equity, landmine eradication, global critical care and international aid.

WVU faculty, residents, fellows, students and staff, and the Morgantown community are invited to attend. All events are free.

Daily presentations, with the exception of Monday’s keynote virtual fireside chat, will be held in person from 12-1 p.m. in Health Sciences Center North Room 1909 and also will be available via Zoom. The fireside chat will be held via Zoom from 1-2 p.m. with an option to watch the virtual presentation in Health Sciences Center North Room 1909.

Lunch will be provided at in person events to those who register by Friday, September 9.
