WVU-affiliated organizations provide ways to support Turkey and Syria after devastating earthquakes

On February 6, two earthquakes measuring at 7.8 and 7.5 magnitudes struck Turkey and Syria. As a result, over 40,000 people have lost their lives, thousands of buildings have collapsed and more than 14 million people are in need of assistance.

West Virginia University is an institutional member of the Consortium of Universities for Global Health, a coalition of institutions focused on improving the well-being and health of people around the world.

The Consortium has provided a list of organizations that are currently receiving donations to provide relief for those in Turkey and Syria:
