Participate in survey of driving behaviors during the COVID-19 pandemic

The purpose of this study is to determine the demographic and behavioral risk factors associated with driving after marijuana use during the COVID-19 pandemic and to gain West Virginia University students’ opinions and perceptions towards driving after marijuana use. Your participation will help inform current and future driving-related programs within the WVU community and beyond. This survey will take you approximately 10 minutes to complete. You will complete this survey on REDCap. Acknowledgment of this study by WVU’s Institutional Review Board (IRB) is on file.

You are invited to participate in this survey if you:

  1. have driven a motor vehicle at least once in the past 6 months;
  2. have a current valid driver’s license from any state in the US;
  3. must be enrolled for at least 1 credit hour at WVU this semester;
  4. must be 18 years of age or older as of today.

You will have a chance to receive a $10 gift card for participation if you complete the survey.

This study is being conducted by Yuni Tang, a PhD candidate in the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at WVU, to fulfill the requirements for a doctoral degree under the supervision of Dr. Toni Marie Rudisill, Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics.
