Parking, shuttle service modified as employees and students return

As students, faculty, and staff return to campus for the fall semester, the Research Park parking lot will remain open. In addition, the shuttle service provided for employees at the Research Park lot, Willowdale garage, and Lot J82 will continue on the current schedule. View the shuttle schedule here.

Employee lots A1, A2, F1, F2, F3, and F4 will remain the same with no changes at this time.

The Willowdale garage holds 820 spaces with multiple levels; employees should check each level for availability.

All parking locations will be monitored daily with modifications to shuttle hours based on demand. 

At this time, all permits will remain valid in all parking lot areas as a temporary measure. Revalidation of permits will be announced at a later date.

If you have been parking in Area 81, WVU will begin enforcing restrictions for invalid permits on Aug. 1 due to the spots being sold to faculty, staff, and students. 

Note: Once areas fill up, employees are asked to use the other available parking locations for convenience. Employees are reminded not to park in the patient/visitor lot due to the volume of patients also returning for hospital/clinical needs.

Reminder: Practice good health habits

• All employees are required to wear a mask at all times; continue to practice social distancing and wash hands often.
• The shuttle drivers will routinely wipe down the internal surfaces of the shuttles to keep staff safe.
