New dental school alumni president shares introduction message
Happy Spring from YOUR Dental School Alumni Association. It is with great honor and humility that I introduce myself as your Alumni Association President. I am Michael Hazey III, Class of 2003.
As I step into this role, I want everyone to know that YOUR Alumni Association is alive and well thanks to the support of all of you. Just last week, we were honored to host Dr. Ashley Clark as she shared an update on oral pathology. Over 150 attended the CE course at the Waterfront Marriott. In addition, over 90 alumni “danced the night away” at the annual Alumni Dinner/Dance honoring our reunion class years. Furthermore, YOUR Alumni Association will continue to support our dental and dental hygiene students as they take part in upcoming board exams, graduation, and white coat ceremonies. Lastly, don’t forget to stop by the Alumni Association booth at the WVDA Annual Meeting at the Greenbrier in July. As usual, you can count on YOUR Alumni Association to provide some snacks, raffle prizes, and friendly conversation!
As our Mission Statement says: ”Uniting and Supporting WVU School of Dentistry Alumni and Students by Creating Lifelong Connections”, cannot be done without the support of our alumni. So THANK YOU, and I look forward to seeing you in the coming year.
