The West Virginia University Dr. W. Robert Biddington Center for Dental Innovation has become an integral part of our dental and dental hygiene student’s educational and clinical experience. Dr. Lauren Yura Godwin will discuss this innovative and state-of-art clinic and how it is impacting our students, patients, and faculty.
In recent years, digital dentistry has significantly changed our traditional way of performing treatment on our patients, improving patient comfort and treatment accuracy. In particular, when it comes to dental implant treatments, WVU School of Dentistry has positioned itself among the few dental schools worldwide providing a full digital workflow for dental implants including the most recent introduction of Robotic implant placement. Dr. Gian Pietro Schincaglia will present a brief overview of these new technologies and their application.
