High Fives! at the School of Nursing / Feb. 14-18

Whether it's a small act of kindness or a grand gesture, the WVU School of Nursing wants to acknowledge the impact of our community members. Students, faculty and staff are invited to give a shoutout or a "virtual high five" to someone at WVU SON. Each week, we'll share submissions so you can see the great work happening all around us.

Feb. 14 - Feb. 18:

James Messer

"Professor Messer is such an amazing professor. He cares so much about his students and has even continued his education to receive certifications to be a better educator. I am so grateful to have learned how to be caring, compassionate, and an excellent nurse from him. I appreciate his efforts more than words can describe!" — Felicia Seabolt

Tina Antill-Keener

"Her wonderful teaching discussion group sessions are so awesome and she is so great at facilitating them! She brings such a positive attitude and open arms that allow us to discuss really difficult topics!" — Jessica Matthews

Heather O'Neil

"Heather not only works as full-time faculty and puts all of herself into that, but she also has a podcast to help women with breastfeeding issues, works as a lactation consultant, and the super exciting part- she opened a Postpartum Bliss business! This is a space where women in the postpartum phase can get the help that they need with just about anything! It is so awesome for our community! She is such a caring healthcare provider who deserves recognition." — Jessica Matthews
