Dental school alumni association president shares encouraging words

Michael P. George, DDS, president of the School of Dentistry Alumni Association, offered well wishes to Dean Borgia and encouragement for faculty, staff, students and alumni in a personal message:

“I congratulate Dean Borgia and wish him the very best upon his journey into the next chapter of his life. I thank him for all of his marvelous efforts during his tenure as the dean, and I am grateful for the diligence he has shown in such challenging times. I also extend well wishes for much continued success to Dr. Fotinos Panagakos as he begins his role as interim dean.

“Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, we as dental professionals are facing huge challenges in caring for our patients and communities. The Alumni Association would like to thank the entire School of Dentistry – faculty, students and staff – for all of their efforts in keeping as much normalcy as possible at the school during these difficult weeks. It gives me great pleasure to be a part of this great profession, and I am proud to be a graduate of the School of Dentistry.
