Women in Science and Health fosters community, growth at WVU

As the female workforce has grown over the last three decades – now representing nearly 70 percent of health workers worldwide – faculty and staff at West Virginia University Health Sciences have been supported through the Women in Science and Health Committee (WISH).

University community invited to on-campus presentation by National Institutes of Health director

West Virginia University will host Dr. Monica Bertagnolli, director of the National Institutes of Health, on Wednesday (March 27) on the Health Sciences Campus in Morgantown for a presentation at 3 p.m. in Fukushima Auditorium (HSC-North 1901). The event is open to WVU students, faculty and staff. Attendees are asked to register in advance, bring their WVU ID and arrive early to help manage space needs.
