School of Public Health Teaching and Learning Community Seminar to occur Sept. 9

The first seminar for the SPH Teaching and Learning Community (also known as the Teaching Mentoring Group) will occur on Friday, Sept. 9, 2022 from 11 a.m. to noon in John Jones B, G285B in the HSC. This group/seminar series is a monthly lecture and discussion series for interested students, faculty, and staff in the School of Public Health. Anyone interested or involved in teaching in the School of Public Health including students, faculty, adjunct faculty, and staff may attend. PhD students in teaching practicums are encouraged to attend. This first seminar will focus on SOLE. The presentation will discuss features of SOLE and how to get help with SOLE. Stay tuned to the WVU Calendar and your email inboxes to stay up to date with the upcoming topics. Mindfulness programs scheduled to return this fall

Mindfulness practice can improve sleep, lessen reactivity and positively change our relationship to stress. There are three opportunities for WVU students, faculty and staff to enhance personal relaxation response, mental fitness and mindful resilience this fall through the WVU Mindfulness Program.
