WVU Alumni Association announces 2025 Homecoming and Alumni Service Award honorees
Dr. Clay Marsh (’81, ’85), chancellor and executive dean for WVU Health Sciences, will serve as the grand marshal for the 2025 Homecoming Parade at 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24, on High Street in downtown Morgantown.

Bethany Barone Gibbs, chair of the Department of Epidemiology and Biostatistics at West Virginia University School of Public Health, spoke with Barron's about the importance of seniors adding physical activity to their lives. Over the past century, everything from cars to the automation of daily household chores to online shopping has removed physical activity from our lives, says Gibbs. HVAC maintenance will temporarily shut down parts of walkway behind Ruby Memorial
A vendor will be working to replace portions of the HVAC units on top of J.W. Ruby Memorial Hospital. This work will require the temporary closure of the 4 North exit door and a portion of the sidewalk outside The Market at WVU Health Sciences.
