Need to schedule a classroom or other space in the Health Sciences Center?
Space is at a premium throughout the HSC. If you are organizing an event or need space for a meeting or activity, please plan ahead and put in your request as early as possible. Regularly scheduled classes have first priority when there are conflicting requests for space. The HSC Space Planning Committee has recently released an updated Central Room Scheduling Guide.

WVCTSI director’s research demonstrates improved safety and efficacy resulting from change in HIV drug regimen
Results from the first phase 3 HIV study to enroll only women show improved safety and efficacy of the drug Stribild over multi-pill antiretroviral drug regimens. Sally Hodder, M.D., director of the West Virginia Clinical and Translational Science Institute (WVCTSI) and associate vice president for clinical and translational science at West Virginia University, presented the findings.

In the latest issue of JAMA Psychiatry, he proposes a way to address it.
NIH funds WVU study of yoga vs. education to calm restless leg syndrome
The National Institutes of Health will support a West Virginia University researcher studying the potential for managing restless leg syndrome using a novel non-pharmacological approach. The project has been awarded $448,524 in research funds.
