Judith Hayes, M.S., M.P.H., NASA chief of Biomedical Research and Environmental Sciences Division at Johnson Space Center, Houston, Texas, will speak at a West Virginia University Department of Exercise Physiology seminar on Thursday, May 12 at noon in the WVU Health Sciences Center, room 1909.
Hot food vendors to serve lunch on East-West Concourse
Starting Monday, May 9, local food trucks and other temporary hot food vendors will be set up on the East-West Concourse between the Health Sciences Center and Ruby Memorial Hospital to serve lunch over the summer.

As Thomas, a three-time graduate of West Virginia University, readied himself to leave the Army he summed up his career with a simple philosophy: It’s all about saving lives and improving readiness.
WVU Medical Laboratory Science program sails through accreditation visit
WVU’s Medical Laboratory Science program recently sailed through the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences’ accreditation process with flying colors. The preliminary report showed no citations or concerns and the recommendation for a full, ten-year accreditation status was made to the NAACLS.

Food service plan on fast track; catering options change at HSC
Fresh Hospitality, which operates restaurants at Evansdale Crossing and will be operating the revamped food service at the HSC, is planning a rapid renovation to the Health Sciences Café area on the ground floor of Health Sciences South. The HSC cafeteria will close Friday, May 6.
