West Virginia University School of Nursing Dean Tara Hulsey has been elected president of the Southern Regional Education Board’s Council on Collegiate Education for Nursing, effective Nov. 13.

School of Medicine’s Gauri Pawar named to the ACGME Residency Review Committee for Neurology
Gauri Pawar, M.D., associate professor and director of the residency program in the Department of Neurology, was recently selected to serve on the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) Residency Review Committee for Neurology. Dr. Pawar’s voting term will begin July 1, 2017, with additional non-voting duties beginning as early as January 2017.
