Students, faculty and staff are reminded how the University responds when harsh winter weather occurs. Should conditions occur making travel potentially dangerous, both students and employees are reminded to use their own good judgment before venturing out.

Davis is a faculty member in the WVU School of Public Health’s Department of Health Policy, Management, and Leadership.
WVU in the News: Innes' research looks to meditation and music in altering blood markers of Alzheimer’s disease
A research team led by Dr. Kim Innes, a professor in the West Virginia University School of Public Health, has found that a simple meditation or music listening program may alter certain biomarkers of cellular aging and Alzheimer’s Disease in older adults who are experiencing memory loss.

In an effort to provide an affordable option for students seeking a graduate degree, the WVU School of Public Health has established the first shared-credit degree program with a program outside of the University system.

The David and Jo Ann Shaw Center for Simulation and Education for Patient Safety will soon offer a simulation certificate program. The continuing education course aims to teach effective strategies for including simulation training in the classroom.
