Cardiovascular study uses machine learning to improve treatment of aortic stenosis
A new study by a team of researchers, including Partho Sengupta, MD, chief of cardiology at the WVU Heart and Vascular Institute, utilized machine learning to predict the clinical presentations and treatment outcomes of patients with aortic stenosis.

ANESTHESIOLOGY Michael Lyew, MD joins the pediatric cardiology division in the Department of Anesthesiology. He was previously an associate professor of pediatric anesthesiology at New York Medical College with an appointment at Maria Fareri Children’s Hospital in Valhalla, N.Y.

Urology program earns national recognition
The WVU Medicine urology program has been ranked as the 22nd best program in the country by U.S. News and World Report. This is the second year in a row that WVU urology has recieved the ranking.
