NephRef: Nephrology Guidance for Primary Care Providers
The WVU Department of Medicine, Division of Nephrology, is pleased to introduce the newly upgraded NephRef™, a free mobile application designed to support primary care and rural healthcare providers in the management of patients with kidney disease. Developed by the Division of Nephrology, NephRef™ is an educational and clinical reference tool that provides clinicians with rapid, point-of-care access to evidence-based nephrology guidance. The app is particularly valuable for providers practicing in settings with limited access to nephrology specialists, facilitating referrals and bridging gaps in care.

Join BeWell on Feb. 18 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Pylons for their monthly wellness event. "Tea off for Wellness" will include grab-and-go herbal tea.
Water outage planned for Saturday, March 14
On Saturday, March 14 from 4 a.m. until 4 p.m. there will be a water outage at WVU Health Sciences as part of ongoing renovations to Dentistry clinical areas and to install additional isolation valves to the water system.

Through regular rotations at the Louis A. Johnson VA Medical Center in Clarksburg, ophthalmology residents at the West Virginia University School of Medicine get the opportunity to grow as physicians while simultaneously delivering highly specialized eye care services to veteran patients in need.
