Inside healthcare leadership development: Senior HR leaders join School of Public Health Administrative Grand Rounds
West Virginia University School of Public Health Master of Health Administration program and the WVU Graduate Chapter of Upsilon Phi Delta will host a virtual Administrative Grand Rounds titled “Proactively Managing Your Development as Healthcare Leaders” on Friday, January 16, 2026, from noon to 1:30 p.m. ET.
Many WVU services may be briefly inaccessible Jan. 4 during quarterly security update
Faculty, staff and students on all campuses may be unable to log into many important services requiring WVU Login credentials 6 a.m.-noon Sunday, Jan. 4 during quarterly security patching to the single sign-on system.

ITS Service Centers, Service Desk adjust operating hours for winter break
All ITS locations, including the Service Desk, will be closed when the University is closed. Additionally, the ITS Service Center at the Mountainlair will be closed Dec. 22 through Jan. 2, and the Health Sciences Service Center will be closed Dec. 23.
WVU physicians urge caution as whooping cough cases continue to rise
Two West Virginia University physicians are encouraging people to recognize the early symptoms of pertussis, or whooping cough, so they can take precautions and seek treatment, when necessary, to avoid further spread of the infection.
