Ophthalmology Interest Group at WVU School of Medicine introduces medical students to career in visual sciences
The Ophthalmology Interest Group at the West Virginia University School of Medicine is opening doors for medical students by introducing them to a career in visual sciences through lectures, hands-on-trainings and shadowing opportunities led by WVU Eye Institute ophthalmologists.

Parenting can be challenging, and it can be uniquely difficult to navigate your role as a parent and student while enrolled in college. To provide support and an opportunity to connect with others who understand this balance, the WVU Carruth Center’s BeWell satellite office is offering a Student Parent Support Space beginning Jan. 23.
Utzman awarded the Nancy Tonkin Distinguished Service award for outstanding contributions to the profession of physical therapy
Ralph R. Utzman, PT, MPH, Ph.D., professor and director of clinical education for the Division of Physical Therapy at the West Virginia University School of Medicine, was awarded the 2022 Nancy Tonkin Distinguished Service award by the American Physical Therapy Association West Virginia.

The West Virginia Clinical and Translational Science Institute (WVCTSI) has launched an Editorial Services for Publication program to support the professional development of WVCTSI members and assist with submission of their clinical and translational research findings for publication in peer-reviewed journals.
Many WVU services will be inaccessible Sunday morning
