The WVU Institute for Community and Rural Health RUSH program is a great introduction to practicing in rural communities. The application is now open. All applications must be completed by February 13, 2023. A selection will be made by February 20, 2023.

Inpatient sleep medicine program serves as a growing model of care for other institutions
Sleep is important, and a new study directed by West Virginia University Department of Medicine researchers Robert Stansbury, M.D., and Christine Del Prado Rico, M.D., suggests that incorporating hospital-based sleep medicine to detect sleep deficiencies in previously undiagnosed patients can improve outcomes and even potentially keep them from being readmitted.
Free, personalized aquatic therapy sessions available for University community
Under the supervision of Lori Sherlock, Ed.D., graduating seniors in exercise physiology with an emphasis in aquatic therapy will be hosting free one-on-one sessions at the WVU Student Recreation Center for adults and children who can benefit.

Winter wellness classes now available
