Gamma Mu, the West Virginia University chapter of the Delta Omega Honorary Society in Public Health, will be recognized once again as the National Chapter of the Year at the annual Delta Omega meeting on Nov. 7 at the American Public Health Association Annual Meeting and Expo in Boston, Mass.
HSC Microsoft 365 services today (10/31) starting at 10 p.m.
All HSC Microsoft 365 services will be unavailable for 3-4 hours starting at 10 p.m. today (Monday, 10/31) due to previously announced system migration. (All SPH faculty and staff should have received an email about this migration on 10/17 from microsoft@hsc.wvu.edu with additional details.)

To celebrate West Virginia University’s School of Public Health’s 10th anniversary, a panel of public and WVU health leaders gathered to discuss lessons they learned during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Delta Omega Recovery Ally Training through WVU Collegiate Recovery Program
Delta Omega is hosting a Recovery Ally training through the WVU Collegiate Recovery Program to help the WVU community learn tools to support people in recovery from substance use disorders. The hour-long virtual training provides attendees with education to better understand the process of recovery, help confront stigma related to addiction and utilize appropriate language when discussing substance use disorders. Participants will also learn about available resources in Morgantown and best practices to help those in need access services. All attendees will receive 1.5 hours of community service credit. The training will take place via zoom on Wednesday, Nov. 9, from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Participants can sign up on iServe using the link below: https://iserve.wvu.edu/need/detail/?need_id=742441
Delta Omega Gamma Mu Chapter’s Annual Research Roundtable
The Gamma Mu Chapter of the Delta Omega Honorary Society will be hosting their Annual Research Roundtable on Friday, November 4th from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Students will have the opportunity to connect with Public Health faculty and learn about exciting research opportunities.
