Nearly 12 years after the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, scientists are still examining the potential health effects on workers and volunteers who experienced oil-related exposures.

A celebration of nearly 4,500 West Virginia University graduates begins next week with the inaugural GradFest and culminates in commencement ceremonies planned for May 13-15.

The West Virginia Rural Health Association annual conference will be held October 19-21, 2022, in Lewisburg, West Virginia. The call for presentation proposals has been extended to April 29, 2022.

WVU+kc Award system now provides researchers more detailed and accurate data, Q&A session offered Wednesday
The WVU+kc Award module, upgraded over the weekend, now provides the WVU research community more accurate data that is easier to report on and capable of integrating with other Kuali modules. The upgrade corrected a problem that was resulting in duplicate records.
WVU provides online simulator to help students who are struggling
Faculty and staff are often in an ideal position to recognize when someone is struggling emotionally and may need help. Kognito’s At-Risk Mental Health for Faculty and Staff is an online simulation that lets you practice conversations with a virtual student, so you’ll know what to say in real life.
GradFest: A week-long celebration for the Class of 2022
Before the Class of 2022 prepares to take their final exams, West Virginia University invites all upcoming graduates to celebrate their accomplishments during GradFest, a week of in-person events taking place April 18-24. The variety of GradFest events will provide soon-to-be WVU graduates with the chance to commemorate their college experience.
