As a part of the West Virginia University's School of Public Health's Dean's Colloquium Series, Chia-Chia Chang and Dr. Casey Chosewood, two experts from the CDC National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health’s Office for Total Worker Health® were invited to share their expertise with the community. Their presentation explored the importance of understanding how work affects an individual’s health and well-being is key to advancing worker safety and overall health.

Hospital Helpers is a new community service project co-developed and sponsored by the West Virginia University School of Public Health that enables Girl Scouts to collect and donate items in need to health care systems, along with notes of well wishes to children who are spending time in the hospital.
