WVU Medicine consolidating billing statement for hospital, professional services
On Sept. 13, WVU Medicine will begin producing a consolidated billing statement for both hospital and professional services. This will give patients a clearer picture of their financial responsibility on a single, easy-to-understand billing statement and allow for one single payment to apply to all outstanding balances.
A MyWVUChart communication was issued to notify patients of this change, and potential considerations for payment plans and auto-pay features.
Patients with questions can call customer service at 855-778-2922. The office is open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Based on feedback from patients and employees, the office will pilot expanding hours from Sept. 15 through Oct. 30. In addition to regular operating hours, the office will be open 5-7 p.m. on Wednesdays and 10 a.m. to noon on Saturdays.
