Learn how to minimize risk and optimize learning for procedural training, with simulators and patients. Set up your trainees for success and reduce your own stress. Dr. Lisa Sinz, past president of the Society for Simulation in Healthcare, will be conducting the session and CE will be available for a small fee.

This workshop will explore common simulation modalities, the importance of psychological safety, and the essential components of a simulation experience. September 17 from 100-400 Moulage Techniques with STEPS Sim Specialists
This hands-on workshop introduces participants to techniques of creating realistic injuries, wounds, and clinical findings using affordable materials and practical methods. Participants will learn how moulage can enhance the simulation experience and increase learner engagement while developing foundational skills that can be applied across a variety of healthcare simulation settings.
September 18 from 800-500 CHSE Blueprint Course with Jason Craig ($450 FEE)
Are you interested in becoming a certified healthcare simulation educator? This program is offered by the Society for Simulation in Healthcare (SSH) to help simulation educators evaluate and strengthen their knowledge and application of simulation-based education using the Certified Healthcare Simulation Educator (CHSE) examination blueprint as a framework. The course provides participants with opportunities to examine their current practice, identify strengths and gaps, and explore best practices across the four CHSE knowledge domains: Professional Values, Capabilities, and Leadership; Healthcare and Simulation Knowledge and Practices; Education Principles Applied to Simulation; and Simulation Resources and Environments.
