Katie Hoffman named director of academic personnel at WVU Health Sciences
Kathryn "Katie" Hoffman has been named director of academic personnel for the West Virginia University Health Sciences Center. In this role, she will work directly with Louise Veselicky, associate vice president for HSC Academic Affairs and her team in managing faculty retention, promotion and tenure processes, emeritus applications, and other faculty focused initiatives.
Seeking study participants to determine how CBD impacts driving performance

Ground floor, HSC South entrance closed for construction
The ground floor, Health Sciences Center South entrance near The Market at WVU Health Sciences has been closed due to ongoing construction and safety concerns. This closure will remain in place full-time through the beginning of the fall semester and may continue on an as-needed basis.
Health Sciences implements updated photography services and pricing
Following recent changes to the university’s photography pricing structure and to continue to support a photography studio that offers on-campus portraits and on-location photography services, WVU Health Sciences is implementing several updated policies and pricing.
Participants sought to evaluate impact of yoga on health, specifically for individuals with high blood pressure
To be eligible for the research study, participants must be adults aged 18-65, diagnosed with high blood pressure, not currently involved in an exercise or yoga program, and not pregnant.
