Call for posters: WVU's 44th Hal Wanger Family Medicine Conference

The 44th Hal Wanger Family Medicine Conference is scheduled for September 20-21, 2018, in Morgantown, W.Va. In conjunction with the conference, the department is soliciting poster presentations for the poster portion of the conference. This is an excellent opportunity for presenters to showcase their research and professional work. Students, residents, fellows and faculty in any health sciences profession are encouraged to participate. A "best poster" award will be given. Abstracts for submission are being accepted through August 20 at 5 p.m., and authors will be notified of acceptance status by September 1. Abstracts should be less than 250 words and include a brief introduction, methods, results, and discussion/conclusion of the project. Abstracts will be assessed via a peer-reviewed process. The conference will begin early afternoon on Thurs., September 20, followed by evening workshops and will continue through Friday, September 21st. Dr. Halvard Wanger organized the conference in 1956. In 1975, the Department of Family Medicine assumed responsibility for hosting this annual conference.
