As a new semester begins, campus community members are reminded of the University’s procedures for inclement weather conditions.
Faculty Development Program to offer online series this spring
The Health Sciences Faculty Development Program is set to host a series of online sessions throughout the Spring 2024 semester. The Noon Day Speaker Series begins Tuesday, Jan. 30. Each session will be held from noon to 1 p.m. via Zoom.

Community Engagement Expo to be held on Jan. 18
The WVU Center for Community Engagement Community Engagement Expo (formally known as the Volunteer Fair) will be held Thursday, Jan. 18 in the Mountainlair (Vandalia Lounge) from 10:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to attend to learn more about local service opportunities with nonprofits and community organizations.

HPML faculty to co-chair community of practice for American Society of Clinical Oncology
Dr. Nicole Stout, research assistant professor with Health Policy, Management and Leadership and WVU Cancer Institute Cancer Prevention and Control was selected to co-chair the new American Society of Clinical Oncology Cancer Survivorship Community of Practice. The community of practice will lead multidisciplinary collaborations in education, research and policy to advance initiatives for cancer survivorship.
