William A. Neal Museum of the Health Sciences seeks submissions for upcoming exhibit
The William A. Neal Museum of the Health Sciences, a unit of WVU Libraries, is seeking stories and objects for “Getting Through: Healthcare Worker Resilience in the Age of COVID,” a year-long exhibit highlighting the experiences and resilience of West Virginia’s healthcare workers.
Student Health resources available as COVID-19 and flu cases rise
As cases of COVID-19, flu, RSV and strep throat are increasing heading into the fall season, Student Health is reminding faculty, staff and students of available resources for when they’re feeling sick.
Many important WVU services will be inaccessible Sunday morning for security update
Faculty, staff and students on all campuses will be unable to log into many important services requiring WVU Login credentials from 6 a.m. to noon Sunday (Aug. 27) during critical security patching to the single sign-on system and many WVU servers.
Prevention Summit call for proposals

Faculty Development Program announces fall sessions
The Health Sciences Faculty Development Program is set to host a series of sessions throughout the fall semester. Designed to foster the growth of faculty to their maximum potential in the areas of teaching, research and service while achieving the vision and mission of the University, the program offers a variety of lectures and training opportunities throughout the academic year.
Public Health faculty complete first offering of inaugural course for global healthcare management and health policy network
West Virginia University School of Public Health faculty Heather Henderson and Steve Davis recently recently completed the first offering of their course “So You Want to Teach? The Anatomy of a Course” for the Association of University Programs in Health Administration Art of Teaching Institute.
