A $10,000 gift from Dr. Bryan and Carol Whitaker established the Bouquot Scholarship for Excellence in Research. The scholarship rewards dental students from West Virginia for excellence and creativity in oral health research.

Dental clinic at WVU to participate in Give Kids a Smile effort
Annually, dentists across the nation participate in Give Kids A Smile®, an ADA program that helps underserved children receive the oral health care they need. WVU Dental clinics and the dental school will participate by offering free educational and preventive services to children from low-income families on Friday, February 4, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
WVU dental school takes part in climate study to elevate DEI initiatives
Through a confidential, online survey, leaders hope to collect feedback from the school’s internal stakeholders that will help the school be more supportive of a humanistic, inclusive, diverse and equitable environment.
